I went with Liz for a personal shop & as a plus size lady I was so nervous as I know what a struggle it is to find clothes for my size in store, being a plus size I didn't want to feel embarrassed, the nerves were real.
I was greeted by Liz in a coffee shop before with a lovely big smile, I instantly felt at ease. We had a chat about the plan and liz told me she had everything waiting for me at M&S.
We headed straight to the changing room without me looking around and trying to find pieces.
When Liz showed me the rail of outfits I couldn't believe how many options she had chosen for me all in my size. I was instantly excited!
The first outfit was an instant winner & something I would never of thought I could wear. I tried on about 8 outfits & couldn't believe how good they looked on me, I could of actually cried. I can't believe I went in so nervous & walked out a new women and no longer felt stuck in a rut!

Liz was incredibly supportive and practical throughout the process, making it much easier to let go of things I had been holding onto. Liz has a great eye & gave honest, helpful advice without ever making it feel overwhelming.

I can’t recommend Liz’s personal shopping service highly enough.
Through my work, I received an invitation to The King’s Garden Party, an incredible honour, but unexpected, the thought of finding an outfit for such a special occasion filled me with anxiety. I work in a relaxed environment, so occasion wear simply isn’t part of my everyday life and the idea of wearing a dress was completely outside my comfort zone.
I had come across Liz’s service online and decided to reach out, and I’m so glad I did. From our very first interaction, Liz was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. She asked multiple questions and requested a few photos to better understand me. I’ll admit, some of the questions initially pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I quickly realised I was in safe hands and trusted her process.
Using my answers, Liz created a personalised colour palette and advised on dress styles that would best suit my shape. We then began sharing ideas and arranged a day to meet for a personal shopping experience, with Liz carefully selecting the location based on the best available options.
On the day, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. My morning started a little grey, and although I wanted to enjoy the experience, I was still feeling quite uncomfortable. Once we arrived at the first shop, Liz confidently scanned the store while I hesitantly browsed. When we regrouped, she already had several dress options ready. As she explained why each piece would suit me, considering colour, shape and detail, I began to relax.
We built up a selection to try on and then came the moment I had been dreading: the changing room. As expected, the anxiety peaked, but Liz’s calm encouragement and reassurance made all the difference. There was a moment of overwhelm, followed by her steady support and then, suddenly, a smile. We found the dress, one that suited me perfectly and made all that anxiety simply melt away.
By the end of the session, not only had I found the dress, but also the perfect shoes, earrings, and bag. More importantly, I left feeling confident, positive, and completely at ease. I haven’t stressed about my outfit since, in fact, I’m genuinely excited to attend the event and wear it.
Liz isn’t just highly skilled and professional, she’s also a genuinely lovely person who makes you feel like a friend from the very beginning. I will absolutely be using her services again and I highly recommend her.
